Supported browsers

SPEAR supports the latest versions of the following web browsers:

Resetting your browser cache

You may be prompted to reset your browser's cache to recognise the latest version of SPEAR following a system release. This can usually be done by holding down Ctrl and pressing F5. If you continue to receive the prompt, you may need to perform the following steps depending on your web browser.

Google Chrome / Microsoft Edge

  1. Press F12 to open Developer Tools
    Note: If using Microsoft Edge, you may need to click on the 'Open DevTools' button that appears after pressing F12
  2. Right click on the refresh icon in the website address bar (next to the forward/back buttons)
  3. Click on 'Empty Cache and Hard Reload'
  4. Press F12 again to close Developer Tools.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click on the menu icon and then click on 'Settings'
  2. Click on 'Privacy & Security' and scroll down until you get to the 'Cookies and Site Data' section
  3. Click on the 'Manage Data' button and then click on the entry for 'land.vic.gov.au'
  4. Click on the 'Remove Selected' button and then click on the 'Save Changes' button
  5. Click the 'Remove' button to confirm and then close the 'Settings' tab
  6. Press F5 or click on the refresh icon to reload the page.
